This is the second data center in Silicon Valley for Prime data centers

More exciting news from Prime Data Centers as the company announces further expansion in the Silicon Valley region. This new, custom-built turnkey or power-hull facility located on Martin Avenue in Santa Clara, Calif., Is expected to begin construction this year.

Features of the 80,000 square feet of purpose-built data center space will include:

“Santa Clara is one of the most sought-after data centers in the world due to its proximity to the dynamic and structurally important San Francisco Bay area. In addition, Silicon Valley Power’s (SVP) relatively affordable electricity prices are very favorable, ”says Jeff Barber, EVP Sales and Business Development at Prime.

Prime’s location on Martin Avenue, located just one mile from its flagship 9MW data center in Santa Clara, was recently pre-leased to Cyxtera. Completion of the three-story data centers is scheduled for the second quarter of 2022. The Martin Avenue property is now available for pre-lease.

In addition to three strategic locations in California, Prime Data Centers is expanding its global footprint with active projects in the United States and Europe.
